Arvada Municipal Code Chapter 18, Sect. 18-517 requires waste and recycling containers to be stored behind the front plane of a residence when not placed out for collection. Appropriate places to store your containers are on the side of your house, in a garage, or in the back or side yard.

The City of Arvada water utility department will continue reminding residents that per City Ordinance, all trash containers must be stored behind the front plane of your property when not placed out for collection. If someone is not in compliance, please 'File a Complaint' with Arvada Code Enforcement. They will send a friendly compliance notice to the resident and give them approximately 10-days to become compliant before they begin issuing fines.
